What I Do Not Eat?

 


All the unhealthy foods which I do not eat are either high in sugar or negatively affect the immune system reducing my body’s ability to fight off infections. 

I usually do not eat any processed, canned or prepackaged products because they are loaded with chemical additives and preservatives that are used by food companies to enhance the flavor and prolong shelf life. Also, most of the unhealthy products, which account for majority of all the products you can find in your local supermarkets, have expiration dates as long as a year or two. It is scary. I am not talking about natural ways of preserving food such as pickling or salting, but about artificial ones that cause bad consequences to our health. 

I stick to the rule that I do not eat or drink anything that contains anything I cannot pronounce. 

SUGARS: white sugar, high fructose corn syrup, low-quality chocolate, artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame and Acesulfame Potassium (Acesulfame-K). I use stevia or xylitol which have a smaller effect on my blood sugar level as a substitute.

ALCOHOL: beer, spirits, liquors, wine (except for red one sporadically). Alcohols are addictive, lead to consistently higher blood sugar level, and negatively affect immune system.

GRAINS & GLUTINOUS FOODS: wheat, rye, barley. I try not eat white bread at all and anything that contains yeast.

BEANS: corn and soya. Most of corn and soya beans are genetically modified, hard to digest and high in carbohydrates. 

FRUITS: I eat all of the fruits but try to limit those fruits which are high in sugar, for example, grapes, mangoes, melons, apricots or figs. Instead, I eat a lot of sour fruits, for example, grapefruits, kiwis, lemons and limes. I do not eat any canned fruits or dried fruits except for cranberries.

MEAT: pork, canned or processed meats loaded with dextrose nitrates, sulfates and sugars. I avoid pork because it contains retroviruses that are harmful for people with a weakened digestive system.

DIARY PRODUCTS: cheese, cow’s milk, cream. Because all include lactose which many people are unable to digest.

ADDITIVES & PRESERVATIVES: I do not eat any of this stuff, for example, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG / E621), which is used as a flavor enhancer in soups, salad dressings, chips, frozen food and restaurant foods, or Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), which is used to prevent color changes in cereals, chewing gum, potato chips, and vegetable oils.

BEVERAGES: bagged tea, sodas, energy drinks. However, I drink lots of loose leaf Chinese tea.

MUSHROOMS: mushrooms. Some fungi can cause an inflammatory reaction. 

CONDIMENTS: ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish, sauces, salad dressings. All contain high amounts of hidden sugars and other chemicals to remain ‘fresh’ for as long as 2 years.

VINEGAR: almost all vinegars except apple cider vinegar or bio rice vinegar. Because most are made in a yeast culture, depletes the stomach of acids.

FATS AND OILS: peanut oil, canola oil, soy oil. Most of those oils are either contaminated with mold or made out of GMO beans.

After I eliminated unhealthy food from my diet, I feel fantastic and will never go back to eating the products I mentioned above. Here is a list of what I eat.
