The Purpose of My Activity Online – Business Blogging

My business activity revolves around publishing articles about business management and life management on the Internet.

I am going to run my business organization to fulfill wants of my readers by providing you with service that is in higher and higher demand these day – better managed businesses and higher quality of life.

What is my business activity about?

Firstly, I will be using resources which I currently own (e.g. server space, laptop computer and phone with camera, desk, Internet connection, personal savings as starting capital, business management text books, etc.) or have access to (e.g. business books and magazines in libraries, relationships with managers, directors and CEOs, etc.).

I think that I am quite good at business writing. Also, I have pretty decent business knowledge and skills too which I have skillfully applied into my own life to manage it better, so I confirmed their workability. In addition, I developed learning and teaching skills that helped me to dramatically improve my quality of life. On the technical side, I self-taught myself how to code HTML and design beautiful websites.

With all of the aforementioned resources, I can meet your wants as a reader of my content. My business activity allows me to offer services to all of you because I have the abilities in business writing, business management and life quality improvements which you do not have. Without me, this project would obviously not exist.

While you not necessarily need to read my website in order to survive, you may want to visit it anyway because you really want your business and life to be better, everyone wants.

Typically, my consumers are business owners and managers of other businesses who use business tools, theories and techniques that I write about to make better decisions in their workplaces to make companies perform better. Another group of customers are end users and include individual people like you and me who read the stories and actually put this knowledge into practice – improve their lives.

Other businesses involved in the production of Super Business Manager

When you visit my website to read this article, you may take me for granted. You may think that it was only me who wrote the story. You may finish reading it. And you may click the X button in the upper right-hand corner. A few hours or days pass by, and you expect a new story to be published again. You expect the story to be interesting, easy to read and more or less help you with improving your life (fast and painlessly would be perfect). However, it does not work like this.

There is a range of businesses involved in making Super Business Manager available for people around the world to read. Every time when you drop by for more content on business management and life management, remember that many other businesses were involved in bringing about what you are currently reading.

After a quick analysis, these examples came to my mind:

  • The business organizations which created the tools that I use for writing my articles, e.g. a word processor (Microsoft Word) and an online dictionary (Cambridge Dictionary).
  • The web hosting company that stores all the website files.
  • The bank (Merchants Bank) that issued a credit card (VISA) which I used to pay for web hosting and the domain.
  • The credit card company that processed the payment. There are a few major players globally in the banking card industry including VISA, MasterCard, Discover and UnionPay.
  • The app development company which coded the app that allowed me to check, if the payment was successful.
  • The computer technology company that developed my laptop computer (Apple and Dell) which I use for writing.
  • The computer shop where I bought that computer.
  • The Internet service provider that gives me unlimited access to the Internet.
  • The utility company that supplies electricity (StateGrid) to my home for the computer and Internet modem.
  • The technology company that developed hardware and software of my cell phone which I use for taking pictures (Apple again).
  • The computer software company which developed photo-editing and video-editing software which I use for editing photos and videos.
  • The farmland that grew trees that were used to manufacture the desk which I use.
  • The farmer who grew cows which skin was used to produce the armchair that I am currently sitting on.
  • The paper and pen producers that I use for jotting down ideas for new stories on life management.
  • The businesses that provide a content management system (the amazing WordPress), plugin architecture and the template for keeping the website running effectively.

There is so much ‘business’ going on here with just one simple-looking website! After analyzing all of the examples above, it becomes obvious that those different businesses from various industries have carried out an enormous range of tasks.

How can you develop your own business activity?

For all of you who would like to start your own business activity, I have a few recommendations where to begin. First, find out what kind of goods and services other people need and would like to have:

  • Look around you to identify what products you use often, e.g. a cell phone, public transportation, cooking equipment, etc.
  • Check what goods you currently have in your house, e.g. shoes, tea, books, TV sets, etc.
  • Go for a walk in your neighborhood and pay attention to what goods other people are using, e.g. a lawn mower, an SUV car, kids’ bikes, etc.
  • Visit a shopping street and observe women who are window shopping. That is exactly what they would like to have, e.g. wedding dresses, new pair of high-heels, jewelry, etc.
  • Choose a company you know or like and study any information you can find on your favorite business, e.g. Apple producing computers and tablets, or Ford producing cars, etc.
  • Open a newspaper or check news portals to find out what new trends are currently going on in the business world, e.g. meatless hamburgers, sports shoes made of sustainable materials, minimalistic furniture, etc.
  • Browse through advertisements to see what products are being promoted, e.g. new 5G cell phones, healthy food, luxury hotels in exotic destinations, etc.
  • Think of what other companies were involved in producing a birthday cake which you have just bought for your kid’s birthday party, e.g. the farmer who supplied milk, the baker who baked the physical cake, the transportation company which delivered the cake to your home, etc.
  • If you have a full-time or part-time job working for someone else, consider whether you can start a similar business to what your employer does, e.g. your own restaurant, interior design studio, a shoe factory, etc.

Then, think about whatever resources you have available to you (e.g. fabric, sewing skills your grandma taught you, a sewing machine, etc.) and try to identify what kind of clothes your customers may want.

Finally, turn those resources into goods to meet other people’s needs and wants. Make the clothes and tell your family and friends about your business activity. They will most likely be your first customers.
