Create Your Own Mantra Statement

Many people wake up in the morning, hit the snooze function on their smartphones just to go back to sleep for a few extra minutes, roll over their beds, yawn like lions, and go to the bathroom to pie. Then, they have breakfast or skip the breakfast in exchange for black coffee, and then go to school or work.

Does it all sound familiar?

How many people are there in the world who carefully think about, right after opening their eyes, what inspires them to get out of bed every day? Are they all excited about each upcoming day, or the only thing that they dream about over and over again is how to make more money?

How many of you have actually considered your own mantra statements to reveal the true purpose of your lives?

What is mantra statement of SuperBusinessManager.com?

‘Business resources for better decision making’ is a mantra statement which I have created for my Super Business Manager.

It helps me to effectively organize ideas for different business articles around one concept that I care about deeply – helping managers to make better decisions to run businesses better and helping people to make better life decisions, so you can improve quality of life to live better than you used to.

This mantra is very easy to remember. I wanted to share something meaningful and memorable, inspiring and motivating.

How to create mantra statements?

If you want to create your own mantra either for your business or your own life, you should think for a while what your true goal in life is, and define what inspires you to get out of bed every morning.

Your mantra should be concise, short and clear, so anyone can chant it in their minds throughout the day.

Examples of mantra statements

Here are a few examples of corporate mantras which I was able to find out:

FedEx, an American global courier delivery services company, ‘Peace of mind’.

Target, the second-largest discount retailer in the United States, ‘Good design for everybody’.

Nike, an American multinational corporation that designs, develops, and markets athletic footwear, apparel, equipment and accessory products, ‘Authentic athletic performance’.

Patagonia, a designer of outdoor clothing and gear for the silent sports: climbing, surfing, skiing and snowboarding, fly fishing and trail running, ‘Eco-friendly weather proof fashion’.

Canva, a simple tool to create original, authentic graphic designs and photo illustrations, ‘Democratize the design’.

Mary Kay, an American privately-owned multi-level marketing/direct sales company that sells cosmetics products, ‘Enriching women’s lives’.

Apple, an American multinational technology company that designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, computer software and online services, ‘Design best computers’.

Wendy’s, an American international fast food restaurant chain, ‘Healthy fast food’.

Toyota, a Japanese automotive manufacturer, ‘Beating GM.

I think that having your personal mantra statement will really help you to live better than yesterday. Everyone should have his or her personal mantra which defines what kind of future that person is living into.

Because, with a simple mantra statement, we are able to understand who we are, explain to others why we do what we do, and what value we provide making meaning to other people’s lives.

And, most importantly, to find out what our ultimate life purpose is.
